Rain In The Forecast For Much Of The Week.
In South Carolina we have been going through a drought for the last 4 years with no end in sight. With so many chances of rain this summer and none really seeming to hit the Upstate fear of more water restrictions and problems seem to be in the near future. However today it has been raining on and off for the most part and the forecast for the next week is rain but will that be enough to pull us out of our 11 inch deficit for the year? Specialists say that if it happens to be a slow steady rain then it could make a big difference, but if it becomes a heavy rain in short periods of time it can cause flooding. Well we here in SC are praying for a slow steady rain in hopes that it will break the trend we have set these last few years in a severe drought.
