Did Last Nights Debate Really Answer Any Of your Questions?
Did last night’s debate really answer any of your Questions? Well that is the question of the day. During the debate last night I was in a chat room hosted by Amy Wood from News Chanel 7 and it seems that everyone there were left with nothing as far as answers from McCain and Obama. Many called it simply “useless”, which my opinion is the same. I heard some great questions asked, but not answered with anything specific to relate to the average American.
The debate last night reminded me of the political official in the movie The Best Little Whore House In Texas. I can’t remember his name or even which office he held, but in the movie reporters and citizens were left shaking their head every time he was asked a question because he never seemed to answer and only skated around the truth. I agree the debate(s) are really useless as they aren’t really “debates” at all - there’s no fact-checking, only spin and accusations. I loved your post and am glad to see I’m not the only one disturbed by the rhetoric.
