A New Year and New Beginning
Last night, my husband and I took off to celebrate the ringing in of the New Year at a The Blind Horse Saloon in Greenville, South Carolina. Now that was what I call a party and a half. We stayed till about 12:30 and things were still going strong when we left. I take it that we just can’t hang with the young folk anymore.
Today we had a dinner of corn bread, ham, black eyed peas and turnip greens. We are told that eating greens on New Years day will bring lots of money in the New Year. I hope that is so because I ate my fair share of them. We will see if it works.
