Will it be on sale or not if you have to wait for a rebate? Well South Carolina Representative Toole is asking for a vote on H3174. This bill would make it an unfair trade act to advertise a sale price on any product which requires you to mail in a coupon to get a refund.
This my friends would be a great thing for shoppers of all kinds. No more having to worry about waiting on a refund or fighting at getting your money to really buy something at sale price. Millions of complaints have been posted about not being able to get the money from mail in refunds so this would cut a lot of that out. I vote yes on this one.
I wish they would do something like that in Wyoming. The day after Thanksgiving sales were loaded with these fake sales.
