With all the budget cuts does H3306 have a chance of passing?
A brand new bill that could give certain voluntary firemen of organized volutary rural fire units a average weekly wage of 66% versus the 37 1/2% they were getting. Look for H3306 to be voted on as it was submitted by Representative Alexander.
I have always said that police and firemen do not make near enough for the job they do and right now it looks as though the police department has already had to scale back because of budge cuts on a state level. It would be my opinion that Governor Mark Sanford probably will not pass this one anyway. Could it go through without a hitch? Who knows, we will be watching to see what this one does.
