Is this a race issue?
If you are going to be voting here in South Carolina in any election process you may now have to show a picture ID. Some are screaming that this could hinder the minorities from voting, but I have yet to understand how this became a black versus white issue or did I miss something. To often race is applied to many situation where there really is no cause for it. Maybe it is just me but I too am a minority. I make less than $15,000 a year and have no problem getting a photo ID especially now since they will become free for each of us citizens of South Carolina.
