To game or not?
To game or not? That is the question of the day for me. S535 is out there now that may make any kind of gaming illegal. Didn’t we already do this? They took away poker machines and gave us the state run lottery. It is OK to go to a church function and play BINGO for money but not to put a quarter in a machine. It may just be me but I still do not get why one is OK and not the other. I am not for or against the lottery or any other gaming for profit. The only problem I have is that if they are going to allow one they should allow them all or take them all.

I live in Charleston,Sc and I think its stupid how they don’t allow gambling(except the lottery and bingo). Gambling would bring so much money to the state it’s ridiculous that we let it go. I also think it’s dumb that I can go to pokerstars.net and put money in my account and play Texas Hold’em all day long and thats fine but I can’t have a couple friends over and play a game. I might only be 19 soon 20 but I’m old enough to know this state is dumb.
I know you probably have a post about the stimulus money and how Mark Stanford wants to pay off debt instead of for other things this state needs. How dumb is that? I know being out of debt is good and all but come on…. We need this money!!! For education, jobs, etc…
I mean public schools K-12 got screwed from the lottery money so some of the stimulus money would be nice to use towards schools that really need it.
