The transportation committee has given it’s approval to vote on S23

Should you smoke in your car with a child? When my children were little, that was just something I did not do. Well it could soon be against the law in South Carolina. The transportation committee has given it’s approval to go ahead and vote on S23 which states that it would be unlawful to smoke in your car with a child under the age of 10. Personally smoking in a car with your child is a bad idea. Now with that said, I don’t think the government has a right to tell me what I can and can not do in or on my personal property. What do you think? Could this lead to more ways for them to oversee your every move?

I can see if they are doing it so young kids won’t see their parents smoke and think its cool so they try it when they get older. Then again their going to see it at home anyways.

I think your car should be just like your house, what you do in it as long as no one see’s you should be your business. Smoking cigs. isn’t against the law so it shouldn’t be to do it in your car.
