Big red tags will do me in
It is now officially spring here in South Carolina and the ritual chore of cleaning out the old will take place all week. The biggest thing to tackle will be the spare room and out side building. How in the world can one small family accumulate this much crap in just a year?
Now half of the stuff we have still has the tags on it and yet has never been used. I think maybe I have a problem with impulse shopping perhaps. Finding something on sale is a hobby for me whether I need it or not. Why do I think just because it has that big bright red tag on it, that I must purchase it before some one else grabs that set of Bubba Teeth or those 50 pairs of flip flops.
My husband is already saying that his 6 pairs of shoes has no room in our closet compared to my 100 pairs that match something I wear on a daily basis. Oh well, maybe we should just build on to the house so my impulse purchases will have a room of their own or a whole wing as my husband would say.
Next time I see a sale, I will try not to stop. LOL
