The weather is finally right for the O’Reilly SAS Super Late Model race at TR Speedway this weekend. They are having a 2 day race March 21st and 22nd both days gates are opening at 12 noon with drivers meeting at 1pm. This race has been put of twice now due to rain so the stands should be filled with anticipation of the first race of the season.

I would like to take the time this morning to say good luck to all the drivers this weekend and may you have a good clean and safe race. Play nice out there boys and girls because we will be watching from high up in the stands.

Governor Mark Sanford of South Carolina to give the state of the state address today (1/4/2009) at 7pm on the scetv channel. This will be on channel 8 for Charter cable users and 35 for regular TV viewer’s. Take the time to see just what is going to be going on this 2009. Where in the world has this year went? It wasn’t long ago we were cleaning up from last years holiday season. Man, what a mess we had. We hosted the family Thanksgiving Day party at our home. This year it is at my cousins house. I hope she knows what she is doing!

All of the women in my family get together for Black Friday shopping the day after Thanksgiving. We all meet up at about 4am, talk about the early bird specials. This year there is bound to be many deals all around due to this bad economy. I wanted to pass this along as far as I can. This is an ongoing event each year in the support of children at Christmas time. (Yes, we have a little time, but give now.)
